Mentoring session #4: post-livestream

On Wednesday 10 April 2024 I had a further half day mentoring session with Peter Wiegold at his studio is Uxbridge to reflect on the livestream performance of ‘To Drift and Return’.

We considered the process of sharing the captured audio and video recordings of the performance — as well as the process of it’s inception as development — and the way the material might be refined, edited and transformed in the process of creating further artefacts from it.

It is my intention to now share the piece as a number of outputs, including:

• The full livestreamed perform with fully mixed and mastered audio, as a video

• Abridged versions of the performance for music streaming platforms

• A series of shorter videos and clips which share the story of the piece, incorporating interview footage and other visuals.
