Knowledge exchange: The Alternative Conservatoire

On Thursday 21 March 2024 I ran an electronic music practice workshop for students of The Alternative Conservatoire at Premises Studios in Hackney.

We explored sound creation, modulation and manipulation, with a focus on drawing ideas from the people and spaces engaged in live performance, and developing and extending the sonic and musical material beyond the constraints of the embodied performance and physical performance space.

The knowledge exchange workshop built on my experiences with The Third Orchestra, and my own Experimental Music Collaborations, exploring themes of workability, flexibility and interdependence.
